The receptionists may ask you to briefly state why you would like an appointment so that you will be signposted to the quickest and best way of meeting your need.

ON LINE APPOINTMENT

For online appointment booking please request for log in details at reception.

Telephone Appointment.

You do not always need to book a face to face appointment with a doctor. Some issues are more easily sorted out over the phone and doctors urge you to consider booking a telephone appointment for issues such as;

- Blood test result / ultrasound / X-ray Results                    -       Medication Reviews/Queries

- Admin queries (letters / Forms)                                       -       Minor ailments

- Sick notes continuation ( If GP has previously seen you with regards to the sickness).

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
